Howdy! My name is Samantha Voges and I am from the small town of Riesel, TX, about 20 minutes from Waco. I have been around agriculture for as long as I can remember and was very active in my FFA chapter in high school. Because of the affinity I have for agriculture and the experience I had with FFA, I knew that I wanted to become an agricultural science teacher. In the spring of 2016 I had the opportunity to complete my student teaching at Franklin High School, and I loved every minute of it! I received my bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University in May of 2016 with a double major in agricultural science and agricultural communications & journalism. After graduating from Texas A&M, I moved to Lubbock, TX to pursue a master’s degree. In May 2018 I graduated with a master of science in agricultural education from Texas Tech University.

I am excited to continue this journey at Clear Creek High School and with the Clear Creek FFA Chapter. I am looking forward to a great year working with excellent kiddos!
